Fanart piece for Witch Hunter Robin featuring Robin Sena

Just in time for Halloween.

Reworked from an older digital fanart pieced and based off an older sketch.

Finally decided to fix the painting, though every time I look at it I see too many mistakes. Unfortunately, I have other deadlines in place and could only spare two days for this piece. I figure that in five months or so I will rework this painting again.

Skin and mouth are the only layers that were not altered with painting. Layers were color balanced to match the new color schematic. Hair was completely redone with far too many layers. Originally, the hair was more blonde, but I preferred this more muted version with a heightened red atmosphere. The background was kind of a joke. I was just messing around with brushes, lamenting that most of my "fun" brushes on GIMP. I contemplated stamping each brush and sending it over to PE when I stumbled across the wire mesh brush. I was going to use it as a placeholder for the real background, but this one grew on me. Finally got rid of all the original lineart with the exception of a tiny bit around the iris of the eye.

So, it still it has tons of problems, but it is better than the other version I have. Sorry, I'm still in the learning process here. I think this is about the fifth digital painting thing I've done.
