More experiments with textures...

This time I tried creating a metallic look by using the gaussian blur variation on the texture transform. It looked fairly good on my normal monitor, but the effect doesn't seem to carry over so well to the LCD monitor I'm using right now. :|

That soft, metallic sheen really works, particularly as the shading has a textured quality like hammered metal. :)

I've also found differences between my LCD and old CRT monitor. However, this looks excellent on the LCD!
