Leaf Reflection by ClaireJones Leaf Reflection by ClaireJones
Apophysis 2.03c | Text & border in GIMP

I was all set to render something else last night and on a whim decided to play around with another flame. I liked this image so much, I just had to render it first. Still a little ambivalent about the positioning, though.

Hmm...yeah, normally, I like things to be centred on something, but that doesn't really diminish the effect you have going here. (For some reason, they remind me of keys. Not gonna question that association, though.) Great colour mix; it flows very well together because your contrast isn't overdone anywhere. :)

Thanks for stopping by. :aww:

I had actually attempted to center the image between the largest and smallest vertical "leaves." Because the "leaves" scale down as they progress, it's not a true center. It also doesn't help that the font doesn't appear centered (I checked it over and over again because it didn't look it).

Sure :)
Ah--I guess that makes sense, though considering how it is a fractal that's not the traditional Mandelbrot set exactly, it's hard to find a perfect center. 'Tis all good.

I had to try very, very hard to get these results from scratch. For so long, I relied on scripts to achieve my results, but was unhappy by doing so. Eventually, I downloaded some flame packs from *o-LJ-o, studied them closely and eventually figured out a lot of how things worked in Apophysis. I still have so much to learn, myself.

Thanks for stopping by. :aww:

Thanks. I struggled with the positioning and almost decided to omit the upper right with the reflection, but then, Idetermined I kind of liked it that way. :XD:
