Interesting. I've only worked with weights a little but I did find it interesting what changes it could make. :)

Changing weights doesn't work well for all flames. Sometimes I find something, but often I don't. I like to start by changing the weight of Transform 2 to 0.8 and lowering the weight of Transform 1 to 0.2. After that, I start moving the triangles around to see if I can get anything useful.
